English translation of original liner notes in Norwegian, with explanatory comments in brackets:
"This record contains demo sketches of musical ideas, recorded to 4-track, computer and minidisc during 1995-1999. Utopiske Danser [Utopian Dances] is my interpretation of folk music from Utopia. This is music that only appears in dreams. Utopian dances are about making impossible dance steps in your own life. Jono 1999"
"(...) 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9 10, 11 & 12 were recorded at home under my own bed, 5 at Solvang colony garden, 6 at an organ shop in Helsinki & 8 at Endless Studio. 1, 3, 9 & 11 - 1999, 2, 4, 6 & 7 - 1998, 8 - 1997, 10 & 12 - 1996, 5 - 1995. (...) Mastered at Strypapa Audiense [Strype Audio]. (...) Record grading guide
Every record is graded visually (and play-tested when in doubt) using the Goldmine standard — the same scale used by Discogs sellers worldwide. Media and sleeve are always graded separately.
| M | Mint — perfect, usually still sealed. We use this grade very rarely. |
|---|---|
| NM | Near Mint — looks barely played. No visible marks, plays clean. |
| VG+ | Very Good Plus — light signs of use, minor sleeve wear. Plays great; our most common grade. |
| VG | Very Good — visible wear, may have light surface noise that doesn't overpower the music. |
| G+ / G | Good — plays through without skipping but with noticeable noise. Priced accordingly. |
| F / P | Fair / Poor — filler or collector copies only. Always described in the notes. |
Anything worth mentioning that the grade doesn't capture is in the seller notes on each listing.
