Release notes
There are two informational errors on the back cover:
The back cover notes state: "Leadbelly died a pauper in Bellevue Hospital in 1941." His actual date of death was December 6, 1949.
A boxed note states that eight of these tracks were made in 1939. These were actually recorded in 1944, released first on 78s and later together as an LP on: [r=4436921] in 1954.
