Release notes
This record is edited by STIM in collaboration with the Swedish section of ISCM and in connection with the 40th World Music Festival of ISCM in Stockholm.
A1 recorded by the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation at the "Nutida Musik" concert in Stockholm Concert Hall, October 9th, 1964. Composed 1961, commissioned by the Südwestfunk, Baden-Baden. Scored for 6 trumpets, 6 violins, 4 percussion instruments, piano, harp, vibraphone and celesta.
A2 recorded at the Fylkingen concert in the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm, November 30th, 1962. Composed 1962 for a tour arranged by the Scandinavian Sections of ISCM and first performer on November 30th of the same year in Fulkingen.
B1 recorded at a recording session in the great hall of Ekliden school, Nacka, on May 13th, 14th and 15th, 1966. Composed 1963, first performed on March 23rd, 1965. Scored for piano, Hammond organ, guitar, trombone and percussion instruments. The percussion instruments are distributed among the artists and the conductor.
B2 recorded at the Fylkingen concert in the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm, February 26th 1962. Composed 1961.
